March 3 - Really GOOD Kids

We have some really good kids. Like really, really good.

This morning I was reading the ABC book to Nora (more like she was reading it to me) and she never even skipped a beat naming everything in the book. The things she wasn't sure about, she totally made her own name without even pausing and carried right on with confidence. That's my girl.

She also tried to close just one eye like me. And then found it easier to just hold one of them shut with her finger. Nailed it.

Hazey got a sticker today at PE for following the rules & listening carefully. He's been coming home & telling us that his class has been a little big rambunctious, but that his teacher has been calling him out specifically because he's one of the ones that listens and follows rules.

Andlie came home with a new box of colored pencils! She got these because her name got drawn out of the "green slips" box. You get a green slip when you are caught following rules or being kind.

"Mom!!! Are these seeds to grow popcorn trees?!" Yes, son. Yes, they are.

Little Crob Salad (sweet nickname I made up) is such a happy baby when he's not tired and has a full tummy. He smiles & smiles & smiles some more. Especially when he gets the first eye contact after he wakes up from his nap.

Annnnd, he still likes the baby wrap! He loves his Momma. And I love him back. So much. I love that he loves to be near me & finds comfort in doing so.

This is Andlie's favorite lounging spot when Daddy is lying down.

See. Reeeeaaaaalllly good kids. Sure feel blessed.
