We've got the best Daddy in all of the world living in our home with us! He woke up & played tennis at 6:00 am and still wasn't too tired to tickle backs on request.
Aaaaand, last night he went to Target looking for tennis grips. He came home with some "new Nikes" for Nora. She found them this morning and about died of excitement! They've been on her feet since 9:00 this morning and I don't think they're coming off any time soon. Also, Daddy is her new best friend for life. And eternity. Like he totally bought her love with these shoes. And she is letting him know it.
"Dad, can you hold my bike so I can hold your hand? Please?"
Tonight at the dinner table, we played our own version of Pictionary. Since Mom & Dad were saving our appetite for a late dinner together, we were the ones that drew. First topic was "animals." Second was "body parts." It was fun to watch the kids blurt out the answers and even more fun to watch them know the answer and have it on the tip of their tongue, but not know what word it was that they wanted to say. For instance, "nostrils" were called, "NOSE HOLES!!' and, "SNOT HOLES!!"
While I was using the potty, Daddy & Andlie changed my phone wallpaper.
