April Fool's Day (or April Joke Day as it's known in our house) is one of my favorite days of the year.
Kids woke up to the couch turned backwards and our old Christmas tree up. Inflatable Santa was there too.
Favorite prank pulled on the kids: Presents under the tree - a couple forks wrapped up for each of them. They were not amused.
Andlie made a spider out of black construction paper and scared us all
day. She also made a "brownie" (brown E) that both her and I enjoyed all
day. Haze kept telling me there was "a huge bug" on my forehead. The best.
Tied the sprayer on the sink. Got myself three times (THREE) before I got Bryan.
Third year in a row I've been successful with the poppers on the toilet
seat for when Bryan used it. Loudest bang of all three years. Most
laughing involved. Waited anxiously for four hours for him to use that
toilet. He cussed me. I laughed and cackled hysterically. A lot.
Merry April Fool's Toilet Popper Day!
During all the commotion this morning, it dawned on me - we've only had one baby that was at that fun baby age (around six months) at Christmastime! It was fun for me to be able to have a "cheat Christmas" with Cros this morning. He's such a curious, happy baby boy and I love him so.
Sleepy baby. I love his little face. And I love nursing. I say that a lot, but it's truly one of my favorite things - to be able to snuggle and nourish and love and hold all at once. I love it.
Conference weekend! I'd say this is a pretty good view. And it's even better because I was snuggling with Bry on the couch.
Andlie wants a teal basketball! She made this list all on her own. And I love her so much.
Bath time! First bath with just the boys. Cutest boys in the world.
Andlie loves being outside and DOING things. Any things. I love that about her. Today she was literally outside from 10:30 am - 5:30 pm. She ate lunch outside and everything. Unfortunately, we didn't realize that she was getting sunburned the entire time. Poor girl. Hopefully some Aloe Vera, Motrin, and sleep will help it feel better quick.
