April 10 - Easter FHE

An old friend is a Mom of four fighting cancer. I bought this shirt to support her. #warriorsforwhit

Caterpillar!

For FHE tonight, we dyed Easter eggs!

I love the cute details.

Andlie made: the orange egg with a peace sign & heart drawn on it, a couple solid colored ones, the yellow/green one with a sea turtle drawn on it, and "DJ" from "Trolls."
Haze made: a couple solid colored ones, the green one with "mom/dad" written on it, and "Sparkle Butt" from "Trolls."

Nora made: several solid colored ones & "Princess Poppy" from "Trolls."

Bryan made: the red one with zig zag colors, the green/yellow one, and the orange one with a face.

I made: the pink "Mom" one, the half & half teal/green one, and the "egg" one.

Crosby made: happy noises and grabbing motions while we colored eggs!

Afterwards, we finished up by learning about WHY we celebrate Easter. I made the numbered eggs that we used tonight with my Mom when we were first married. They have been used to learn about Easter every year since.

April 9 - Andlie's Primary Talk

I love this view. Pretty soon we're moving to a new house so I snapped a picture so I can remember my usual morning view: a couple kids out the couch with me watching cartoons with messy bed hair. I love it.

Andlie's 8 balloon was finally starting to sink so we cut it down today, but it has lasted 95 days!

Sunday best. They always look so beautiful & happy in their Sunday best.

Cute Andlie gave a talk in Primary today. I don't even need to go help her read any more. She just does it all by herself. And she totally nailed it today. So proud of her. She's such a beautiful girl - inside and out.

We've got a regular Pinkalicious in our family. After church, Nora dressed herself. She chose a pink shirt, pink pants, pink shoes, and a pink wand. (Also kept her pink bow from church in her hair.) She quickly added a pink crown and a pink purse after the picture was taken.

April 8 - Home Sweet Home

Don't have many pics from today because it was spent cleaning & resting & recovering from our fun vacation. Even Cros was happy to be home snuggling Daddy.

April 7 - Spring Break: Day 5/Family Vacation: Day 2

Zoo day!

Andlie & Hazey & Nora were so excited to be able to have & read their own maps. They each kept tabs on what we needed to see and what we had seen all day.

Loved the zoo! Perfect zoo day! It was 65 degrees and partly cloudy all day so no one got too hot and the animals were all comfortable enough to move around for us! We were able to see all the animals & enjoy some yummy food and even got away with a little toy for each of the big kids. 

Family Joke of the Day: Andlie was trying to say "armadillo" & accidentally said "erma-dur-dur" and so that became the joke for the day. Even Nora got in on it. "Andlie, let's go see the erma-dur-dur [giggle giggle]."

Excellent, perfect, happy zoo day with our perfect little family!

After we spent four hours at the zoo, we went back to the hotel to rest. Everyone took a little nap except Nora who just laid still on the bed. 

Then to dinner at the fancy restaurant called Golden Corral! Nora fell asleep on the way there. Guess we had a happy day!

Swimming again at 9:00 at night. Then baths again. Then bed. Slept really well again.
